4/29 - Foundation wall pour
It is amazing how fast these guys are. They built the forms, put in the rebar, had it inspected, and poured the walls................all today. It looks great and tomorrow they will strip the forms. Kristin and I are getting more accustomed to the truck/machine damage on the land, but there is a little more each day. We may be able to insulate the foundation this weekend (a job that we are doing). If that happens we can back fill next week and that will make the site look a little better. The framers are starting on Monday 5/3, we are very excited since that will be much less damaging to the land. The framing should take about 3 weeks.
Eli and Asa had a ball watching the concrete truck with the conveyor on it. They even got their own pile of concrete to play with.
